Every aspect of this property exceeded our (high) expectations. You can’t see the hidden details that make this property even nicer than we expected and superior to 99% of other rentals – top quality mattresses and bed linens, radiant floor heating with separate thermostat in every room, well-equipped kitchen with quality knives, stocked spices cupboard, coffee-grinder etc. You can tell from the photos that the home and furnishings are high end. We’ve also rented other properties on the Brighton Loop this is our 5th visit to Brighton Resort. For context, we’ve done 2-3 vacation rentals per year for the last 15 years in 10 different states, VRBO and HomeAway and AirBnB and local agents. We really enjoyed our stay, the heating system was great. This house was a great size, but felt cozy. No frills, local mountain vibe and great intermediate skiing! House managers very responsive, that's very important to us! There's no store around, so we ordered our groceries online, picked them up on way up, along with wine and beer from state liquor store.
Little kids needed to be dropped off by car. It's a 15 walk to Brighton, 5 min drive to Solitude, but only our teens did the walk to Brighton. This house is next to Solitude's Nordic center, making it great for cross country skiers. We have all kinds of skiers in our family, some are advanced downhill, some new, some cross country. The yard was so fun for snow play! We had 8 people stay comfortably here! Love the downstairs den w/TV and access to tons of snow play just out the back door and on the wrap around deck! Toddlers, teens and tweens loved the house. Laundry Room- Access to efficient washer/dryer with detergent provided! We also have an iron/ironing board in here.īig, clean well laid out. King Bedroom- Downstairs bedroom with king-sized bed. Queen Bedroom- Downstairs queen bedroom with cozy linens.

Den- Watch a movie with friends and family downstairs while sinking into the deep couches! Office Space- A desk provides ample space for our working travelers, along with a birds-eye view of the main level. Living Room- HUGE windows with unbeatable views, comfy couch and armchairs, TV, large gas perfect gathering area for your group off the slopes! There are 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, a spacious kitchen, and a den/TV room downstairs. The great room features an immense stone fireplace and a wall of windows which allows for plenty of sunlight and uninterrupted views of the landscape. Construction is centered around large, gorgeous wood beams and quality craftsmanship is evident throughout this home. Vaulted ceilings, amazing views, and a warm ambiance greet you at the door of this beautiful log home situated on a mountain stream near Brighton Resort.
